I had the chicken shawarma for lunch. Delicious. The fries were really good, too. The man at the counter was friendly. The portion was large, I had to take my fries to go.
The atmosphere is good. No loud blaring music but a cultural program on the TV. The chicken shawarma plate is the biggest I have ever seen. Pita is made fresh. I found a gem!! Be sure to take the time to spend for some of the friendliest service in town.
Whenever I'm working out of town (YEG) I like trying local places and was hoping to find a good shawarma place n this one definitely didn't dissapoint. I tried the mixed platter I think it's called and the chicken is prob one of the yummiest chicken I've ever tried, not an exaggeration either, the garlic sauce... I just love that. I need to find a recipe for that sauce or where I can buy it. That chicken tho...
